Privacy Policy — CoinForest

Introduction

CoinForest Labs Ltd (“we”, “us”, “CoinForest”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains what data the coinforest.app website (the “Site”) and the CoinForest desktop application (the “App”) collect, how we use it and what choices you have.

This Policy applies to the Site and the App wherever they are made available. It does not apply to third-party faucet websites or services that CoinForest may interact with; those are governed by their own privacy policies.

Data we collect

We are deliberately minimal about data. The Site does not require registration and never asks for your name, address or payment details.

Automatically collected technical data: when you download the App we record a download event containing the date, the language version of the page and an anonymised, salted one-way hash of your IP address that we cannot reverse. Standard server logs kept by our hosting provider may briefly record request metadata.

Data stored only on your device: the App keeps its settings, statistics and your payout address in a local database on your computer. This data never leaves your device and we have no access to it.

Cookies and local storage

We use a single preference cookie, cf_lang, which remembers the language version of the Site you selected. It expires after twelve months.

We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site trackers or third-party analytics. If we ever add optional analytics, this Policy will be updated first.

How we use your data

We use data to deliver and improve the Site and the App, to count downloads, to detect abuse of our infrastructure, to remember your language preference and to respond to enquiries you send us by email. We do not sell or rent personal data and we do not use it for behaviour-based advertising.

Sharing with third parties

We share data only with the hosting provider that operates the Site (solely to serve the Site) and with authorities where we are legally required. We never sell data.

When you use the App, it communicates directly with third-party faucet websites and micro-wallet services. Those services may process data about your claims under their own policies.

International transfers

Our hosting may be located outside your country. Where personal data is transferred across borders, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

Data retention

Download events are kept for a maximum of 90 days, after which they are deleted; anonymous aggregate totals may be kept longer. Provider server logs are kept for up to 30 days. Email correspondence is kept only as long as the conversation lasts. You may request earlier deletion at any time.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (including the EU/EEA and the UK), you may have rights to access, correct, export or erase your personal data, and to object to or restrict its processing. Because we collect almost no personal data, most requests are simple and quick.

To exercise any right, email support@coinforest.space. We respond within 30 days. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Children

The Site and the App are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced on the Site together with a new “Last updated” date.
